Instead of using micrsoft points can you jus use you credit card?

i want to buy a map pack for cod which is 1200 points (15$) can i just pay the 15 bucks from my credit card instead of buying points??. If you buy points from the xbox it more expnsive 1000 points for 14.50 and 500 points for 7.25 its just cheaper paying 15 bucks.
