Is fighting to much in a relationship normal?

I told my bf dat i dnt wanna contiune our relationship , its emotionally jus draining me , we argue almost every other day .... He said i must want a fairytale relationship cause all relatiinships are like dat ,.,.., reallly??? Is my desire for a peacful realtionship not realistic??
