What do you think of American accents?

I know there are a lot of different ones, like southern dialects and others, but to give you an idea I speak like Mandy Moore (just choosing a random well known person here). I might be traveling to Australia and other places for animal conservation, so I want to know if my accent will be annoying or interesting to most people. Thanks!
