When using block quotes in MLA format, is regional dialect quoted directly?

I'm writing an essay, and I want to quote extensively from Louise Bennett's "Jamaica Language." I know that block quotes should be quoted word for word, but the author writes exclusively in Jamaican patois, which I feel would be incomprehensible to my professor. Do I quote it directly and then paraphrase, try to translate the text in the block quotes, or something else entirely?
