Do you wear clothes that you purchased and return them after?

I do this with Prom Dresses, Homecoming Dresses, etc. because when will you wear the same dress again? It's obviously wasting good money on a dress if it's just sitting in your closet. Although i do understand why you would hate it when people do this for regular everyday clothes because if you keep returning your not gonna have any clothes of your own .
