Is it true that mascara contains bat poo?

My friend's a cosmetic salesperson & she says all mascara is made from bat poo (except hers). I have another friend who is a make up artist & I asked her & she said it's true. Mascara does smell funky, and it does resemble how I remember duck poo to be like, which I guess would be similar to bats. That's so disgusting if it is true! Can't u catch things from that?
